Over here is crunch time for getting ready for the Trek!!! I am about ready to go insane! House to clean top to bottom (MIL is staying here with the kids); trek clothes to finish sewing; supplies to gather; more money to spend on gathering supplies; more $$$$ spent on gas running around to find Trek stuff! AAARRGH!

I went to Old Navy the other day, and the cashier said I looked familiar. She asked if I was from a certain town, I said, no. She then said, well, you look like somebody's mother that I went to High School with. Great........shoot me up with some Botox......call the Plastic Surgeon.....I need help people!

We have been asked to be Ma & Pa to some of the youth in our ward, as we head out on a handcart trek! We are so excited to be able to share this neat experience with the youth!

In prepping for the trek, we have been reading, "Fire & Covenant" by Gerald Lund. It is an awesome book! I feel so humbled by what they went through.........I have been so blessed!

I may have to lay off the Pepsi and chocolate, since they don't provide those on the trek!

Bittersweet..............

This weekend has been bittersweet. My sweet grandma passed away at the age of 82. She has been suffering for awhile now.........we are grateful that she is free from the pain of her physical body. We will miss her unconditional love and trust she had in us! We were her "little dolly" or "darlin" or "baby doll"........I will miss hearing those words!
