Oh.....what do you do in the Summertime?

This is what J and I get to do this summer!

We have been asked to be Ma & Pa to some of the youth in our ward, as we head out on a handcart trek! We are so excited to be able to share this neat experience with the youth!

In prepping for the trek, we have been reading, "Fire & Covenant" by Gerald Lund. It is an awesome book! I feel so humbled by what they went through.........I have been so blessed!

I may have to lay off the Pepsi and chocolate, since they don't provide those on the trek!

Bittersweet..............

This weekend has been bittersweet. My sweet grandma passed away at the age of 82. She has been suffering for awhile now.........we are grateful that she is free from the pain of her physical body. We will miss her unconditional love and trust she had in us! We were her "little dolly" or "darlin" or "baby doll"........I will miss hearing those words!
