Crazy Monday

Today is quite crazy. Hannah is sick again! She was suppose to get her braces of today and will now have to wait until Feb 12th. She is sad:(

I finally got released from my YW calling after asking over 4 months ago. It was such a stress with Jeff being in the Bishopric and us both being gone away from the kids on Tuesday nights as well as some Sundays. I always feel like I am imposing on others when they have to watch our kids. I hate to put people out. It was a relief to be released, but it was also bitter-sweet..........I love the women I got to work with..............I love the girls, they are so awesome. It is so fun and uplifting to see the girls I taught in Beehives years ago, have such strong testimonies and wonderful talents. There were some girls I didn't think would ever grow up and not be obnoxious! As I bore my testimony last sunday in YW I told the girls that I was thankful that the Lord would bless me enough to serve in the YW and learn so much from them. My testimony always seems to grow the most when I am with the YW. I also noticed that it is the only time I bear my testimony..................I am so emotional and it is hard for me to get up and bear my testimony. So I am thankful for the opportunities I received in YW. Camp, lessons, testimony meeting...........I love when I see the Lord's hand in my life. I know He is always there, I just need to let Him in and recognize how blessed I am.

I have now been called to be in the Nursery or as Sam likes to call it, "Jesus' Church". Last Sunday we were trying to hurry and get ready for church (which starts at 8:30 am) when Sam told me he wanted to go to the other church and I said what church. He said I want to go to Jesus' church. Then I told him that we are. He said no, I want to go to the one where you play with the kids and the toys! (Oh Boy!) I said now you are a big boy and you are a Sunbeam. He then screams at me that he is NOT a sunbeam you are a sunbeam mom; Dad's going to be mad at you! So, anyways I have told the girls that they can not tell Sam that I am in Nursery and that they will have to pick up Sam from Primary and then meet me at the Bishops office. I can't wait until Sam find out that I get to go to "Jesus' Church".

This Sat. is Stephie's Bridal Shower here at our house! Oh man! What a stress! I always feel like I have to deep clean the whole house and have everything "PERFECT"! What is wrong with me? I wish I could relax about some stuff!

Last Wed-Sat I went to Vegas with my SIL's and my MIL. It was fun . The Celine Dion show and the Cirque De Solei "O" show were AWESOME!

Well, on another note, we have been challenged to read the whole BOM by the end of the year. I hope I can put my heart where it needs to be. The last lesson I taught in YW talked about how our testimonies should be our most valued possesion. If it truly was my most valued possesion, wouldn't I spend more time on nuorishing it? I hope I can try harder to do better at praying and studying. I also hope I can keep up this blog. I have never been good at keeping a journal.
